Cadillac, Michigan - Alice Marie Sigafoose, of Cadillac passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2017. She was 91.

Alice was born on May 13, 1926, in Cadillac, Michigan to LeRoy and Helen (Davison) Cooper. She entered into marriage with Max L. Sigafoose on January 25, 1945. The couple spent 58 years together until his time of passing on July 9, 2003. Alice enjoyed spending time golfing and bowling with friends and family. In her spare time she enjoyed reading. Alice spent her career working as a secretary for the Cadillac Public School System at Lincoln School. She cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Alice is survived by her seven children, Mike (Pam) Sigafoose of Saranac, MI, Melinda (Terry) McBride of Cadillac, Tom (Kathy) Sigafoose of Tustin, Rebecca Sigafoose-Harris of Cadillac, Pat (Lana) Sigafoose of Ashtabula, OH, Tim Sigafoose of Henderson, NV and Richard Sigafoose of Norman, OK; grandchildren, Brandei (Ryan) Winegard, Blaine (Andrea) Sigafoose, Brad (Elaina) Sigafoose, Michelle (Ken) Benhem, Chad (Amy) McBride, Mark (Julie) Sigafoose, Casey (Holly) Sigafoose, Meegan (Mitch) Stahl, Jason (Kristin) Harris, Ryan (Tara) Harris, Charlie Sigafoose and Peter Sigafoose; 18 great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Sandy) Cooper; sister-in-law, Doris Preston; brother-in-law, Gordon (Annette) Sigafoose; and many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father and step-mother, Roy and Florence Cooper; her mother, Helen Cooper; parents, Charles and Reva Sigafoose; sister, Jean Hahn; brother, LeRoy "Coop" Cooper; and sister-in-law, Shirley Cooper.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Robert and Evelyn Raden for their care for Alice, as well as the nurses from Hospice of Michigan.

Per Alice's wishes cremation has taken place and interment will take place at a later date at Maple Hill Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Michigan in Alice's memory.
