Arletta R. Griffiths, age 85, of Prudenville passed away on Saturday November 25, 2017 at St. Joseph Mercy-Oakland hospital with her family by her side. 

Arletta was born on December 15, 1931 in Corunna, Michigan to Edgar and Capitola (Pugh) Hildebrant. She married Jerry Griffiths on June 16, 1952 in Chesaning. The couple moved to the Prudenville area 30 years ago from Bay City. Arletta was a member of  the Houghton Lake Church of Christ and enjoyed sewing and making crafts.

Arletta is survived by her loving husband of 65 years Jerry Griffiths of Prudenville; sons; Mark Griffiths of Houghton Lake and Douglas (Sandy) Griffith of Bay City, grandchildren Shannon (Claire) Griffith and Sara (Stephen) Sperando,  great grandchildren; Ella, Brady and Caden Griffith and Dominic, Viola and Enza Sperando, sister; Capitola Westervelt of Roscommon. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Clifford and Edgar V. Hildebrant.  

Per Arletta's wishes cremation has taken place and private services will be held. Memorials may be directed to the Houghton Lake Churchof Christ. Christler Funeral Home- Prudenville Chapel is serving the family. Condolences can be sent to the family online at www.christler-holdship.com
