Cadillac, Michigan - Carl Eugene Daily, of Cadillac passed away on July 23, 2017 at his home. He was 52.

Carl was born on April 4, 1965 in Shelby, Michigan to Fred and Sharon (Porter) Gary. Carl worked in the vending business throughout the State Of Michigan for Ypsilanti prison, the state capitol, Michigan State University, the House of Representatives, the courthouse in Ann Arbor and even for Greyhound Bus Stations. He entered into marriage on December 24, 1998 in Lansing, MI with the former Catherine Ann McRae. Carl was a member of Lions Club, America Council for Blind, and the Westland Church. He enjoyed building bird houses and helping people.

Carl is survived by his loving wife of nearly 20 years, Catherine Daily; three children, George Henry (Tiara Kharismasari) Parker, Tina Marie Parker-Rowe and Michelle Lynn (Benjamin) Abbott; three grandchildren, Harley Wayne Jackson, Brendan Michael Parker and Matthew Allen Abbott; step-granddaughter, Angelia Marie Abbott; two great-grandchildren, Zaiden Wayne Jackson and Valerie Lynn Jackson; mother, Sharon Daily; grandmother, Virginia Gary; three siblings, Sheryl Clark, Charles Daily Jr. and Jodi Daily; and many other loving family members and friends.

Carl was preceded in death by father, Charles; step-father, Charles Daily; and one sister, Agenia Porter.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 11 a.m. with visitation held one hour prior at Hitesman-Holdship Funeral Home. Interment will take place on Antioch Township Cemetery. Following the burial, a dinner will be held at the First Presbyterian Church on221 E. Harris Street in Cadillac the family asks for anyone attending to please bring a dish to pass.
