Cadillac, Michigan - Carol Elizabeth Dunn, of Cadillac passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Sunnyside Senior Living in Cadillac. She was 76.

Carol was born on March 3, 1941, in Garden Grove, California to Sharon Harley and Elsie E. (Moore) Johnson. She grew up on a farm in Minnesota for many years before moving to Oregon where she met her husband William H. Dunn. The couple entered into marriage on March 11, 1966 in Junction City, Oregon. In the 60's, William and Carol relocated to Cadillac, where she met many new friends. Carol liked to watch TV and do crossword puzzles. She was fond of gardening vegetables for many years and even raised chickens. Carol enjoyed visiting with her neighbors out in Sherman Township and cherished the new friendships she made at Sunnyside Senior Living.

Carol is survived by her husband of over 50 years, William H. Dunn of Cadillac; son, Charles "Chuck" Dunn of Cadillac; twin brother, Darrell (Becky) Johnson of OR; two sisters, Jean Barrett of OR and Nancy (Len) Shepherd of OR; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law, Dick Barrett.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 2 p.m. with visitation held one hour prior at Hitesman-Holdship Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Derek Carpenter. Interment will take place at Sherman Township Cemetery in Tustin.
