McBain - Eloise J. (Alexander) Rundlett, of Manton, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017 after a brief stay at Autumnwood of McBain. She was 93.

Eloise was born on October 11, 1923, in Kalkaska, to Charles and Blanche (Hittle) Shepardson. She entered into marriage with Wesley Robert Alexander.  The two created a home together and began their family, resulting in seven children.  Eloise raised her children and cared for the home along with making a living as she worked for AC Spark Plug, eventually retiring after 16 years. She was a proud mother and grandmother who could often be found reading a good book or working on a crochet or quilt project.  Eloise enjoyed working in the garden and was known to have quite the green thumb as she tended to her many plants, flowers and vegetables.  She was a faithful member of Rollins Christian Fellowship who spent time daily reading her bible and shared devotionals with others.

Eloise is survived by her loving family, her children, Janet Caldwell, Jerry (Sharon) Alexander, Donald (Carol) Alexander, and Trevena (Brian) Sheets; 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Charles "Chuck" (Joan) Shepardson; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members; as well as many other friends, neighbors, and fellow members of the Rollins Christian Fellowship.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Wesley R. Alexander; second husband, Bill Rundlett; her son, Wesley "Butch" Alexander; daughters, Eloise Lorraine (Dan) Crannie and Jane (Lawrence) McLain; one brother, William Shepardson and a sister, Edna Miller.
