Kathy M. Pease, age 61, of Houghton Lake passed away on Tuesday June 20, 2017 at home with her loving family by her side.

Kathy was born on August 12, 1955 in Flint, Michigan to James & Willodean (Thacker) Crowe. She married Gary L. Pease on November 10, 1973 in Mt. Morris. The couple moved to Houghton Lake in 1986. Kathy was a member of the Houghton Lake Eagles, Houghton Lake VFW and was involved in Tip-Up-Town. She enjoyed cake decorating and decorating for weddings. Kathy especially enjoyed spending time and being involved with people.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 43 years Gary L. Pease of Houghton Lake, sons; Lonny (Rebecca) Pease of Roscommon and Kevin Pease of Houghton Lake, eleven grandchildren, sisters; Beverly Campbell of Florida, Donna (Rick) Jansen of Florida and Wendy Inman of Flint, brothers; Bob (Shannon) Crowe of Houghton Lake and Jim (Kay) Crowe of Texas, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sons; Gary Jr. and Jimmy Joe.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday June 27, 2017 at 11 am at Christler Funeral Home-Houghton Lake Chapel with Rev. Bryan Thompson conducting the service. Visitation will take place at Christler Funeral Home- Houghton Lake Chapel on Monday June 26, 2017 from 11 am until 8 pm and on Tuesday June 27 from 9 am until the time of the service. Burial will be in Roscommon Township Cemetery, Houghton Lake. Memorials may be directed to Heartland Hospice at 564 Progress Street, West Branch, Michigan 48661.
