Linda Eileen Harvey, 62, of  Houghton Lake passed away on Monday February 13, 2017 at home with her loving family by her side.

Linda was born on February 22, 1954 in West Branch, Michigan to Robert and Carole (Foster) Towner. Linda grew up in the Prudenville area and graduated from Houghton Lake High School. She was married for over 30 years to Russell Kasik who preceded Linda in death. Linda was a homemaker and mother of two children. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cross stitch, music and loved her doggies. Linda attended Houghton Lake Baptist Church.

Surviving Mrs. Harvey are her daughter, Sheryl (Louie Acevedo) Kasik of OK; son, Robert Kasik of FL; two grandchildren, Brett, and Teslyn; sister, Diane Phovemire of Prudenville; one niece; two nephews; several great nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Robert Towner, and husband, Russell Leroy Kasik Jr. 

Memorial Services for Linda Eileen Harvey will be conducted at 11:00 am Friday February 17, 2017 from Houghton Lake Baptist Church with Pastor Stephen Milam officiating. Gathering time for family and friends will be held at the church from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Memorial contributions in memory of Linda are asked to be directed to the family or the American Lung Association. Christler Funeral Home, Prudenville Chapel is serving the family.
