Lori "Bugs" Ann Kenyon-Weinel, age 53, of Lake City passed away on Friday December 1, 2017 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City with her loving family by her side.

Lori was born on May 19, 1964 in Grayling, Michigan to Forest and Marion (Rinckey) Kenyon. She grew up and spent most of her life in the Merritt area. Lori received her Associates Degree in Liberal Arts after her car accident in 1983. Her family took great pride in caring for Lori after her accident. It was Lori's determination and faith in God that kept her going. She enjoyed horses, going to the Rodeo's where she would watch her father, brothers and nephews participate, she especially enjoyed going to Aaron Tippin concerts with her family. 

Lori is survived by her mother; Marion Kenyon of Lake City, sister, Vera (Brian) Craig of McAlester, Oklahoma, brothers; Lonnie (Joyce) Kenyon of Merritt, Larry (Pat) Kenyon of Lake City and Faron Kenyon of Lake City, several nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Forest Kenyon and nephew; Tyler James Kenyon. 

Funeral Services for Lori Ann Kenyon-Weinel will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Tuesday December 5, 2017 from Christler Funeral Home-Houghton Lake Chapel with Rev. Wayne VanDuinen officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday December 5, 2017 from 11:00 am until the time of the service at 1:00 pm. Burial will take place at Star City Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Lori are asked to be directed to the family. Christler Funeral Home- Houghton Lake Chapel is serving the family.
