Cadillac - Marceleen A. Wilkinson, longtime resident of Cadillac passed away peacefully at home, with family by her side, on Wednesday, January 18, 2017.  She was 85.

Marcy, as she was known by most, was born on December 15, 1931, in Bay City, Michigan to Charles and Clara Garrow.  With her caring and compassionate nature Marcy made her living showing love to others assisting those in need as a caretaker. Marcy had an unbridled love for dogs and was passionate about the many four-legged companions she had throughout the years.  She could often be found watching and feeding the birds, gardening, or taking in the beauty of the flowers in and around her home.  Family was most important to Marcy and loved spending time with her grandkids; she was always there for everyone.  She was a member of St Ann Catholic Church, as well as a faithful part of the Revival Center.  She often would volunteer her time and energy for the churches and will be missed by many.

Marcy is survived by her loving family; her children, Kathy Parkinson, Clifford (Kimmie) Wilkinson, John (Cindy) Wilkinson, Marian (Bill) Grames, and Marceleen Ramos, 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, as well as many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Fred Wilkinson, and two sons, Gabrielle and Freddie.

Funeral services will be held at Hitesman-Holdship Funeral Home on Friday, January, 27, 2017 at 1:00 pm, with visitation held one hour prior. 

Interment will take place at the Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Cadillac come springtime.
