Marjorie "Peg" V. (Weaver) Magley

Marjorie "Peg" V. Magley, age 90, of  Houghton Lake passed away on Friday March 9, 2018 at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Peg was born on February 16, 1928 in Indianapolis, Indiana to George & Iva (McCorkhill) Weaver. She was married on October 18, 1953 in Danville to John W. Magley. The couple had been vacationing in the Higgins Lake area since 1968. After retirement the couple moved to Higgins Lake in 1990 from Grand Blanc. Peg enjoyed reading and gardening and spending time with her family, especially her grandson.

Peg is survived by her daughter; Janice (Stephen) Albers of Marshall, sons; John (Deborah) Magley of League City, Texas, and William (Margaret) Magley of Alpharetta, Georgia. Grandson; Christopher Albers of Rochester Hills. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John, sister; Mary and brothers; William and James. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 13, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Christler Funeral Home- Houghton Lake. Memorial contributions in memory of Marjorie are asked to be directed to the American Heart Association or a Veterans Charity of the donor's choice.
