Mary Meyers, 83, of  Prudenville passed away on Thursday August 31, 2017 at Covenant Medical Center in Saginaw with her loving family by her side.

Mary was born on June 26, 1934 in Hamtramck, Michigan to Walter and Frances (Kolbuch) Paszkowski. Mary retired from Hamtramck Schools where she worked as a secretary. She was married to Joseph Meyers on November 22, 1979 in Hamtramck. The couple moved to Prudenville in 1987. Mary was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, a member of the Council of the Catholic Women. She had a passion for gardening.  

Mary is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Joseph  Meyers of Prudenville, niece; Beverly Wilson of Chicago, nephew; David (Deborah) Gausden of Florida, great nieces; Angela (Kidar) Telfrid of Chicago, Nadine Gausden of California, Kira (Paul) Horning of Pennsylvania, Jessica (Jake) Goforth of Texas, great nephew; David (Katherine) Wilson of Ann Arbor and Brent (Adrian) Gausden of California, great-great nieces and nephews; Vincent, Brianna and Brent Gausden Jr., Mirabelle and Lincoln Horning and Remy Goforth, cousins; Valerie Bilanski of Ypsilanti and Tim (Liz) Brooks and their children Becca and Teresa. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister; Eugenia Gausden, brothers; Julius, Casimer and Joseph Paszkowski and nephew; Fred E. Gausden Jr. 

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church on Thursday September 7, 2017 at 3 pm with Father Rolando Silva officiating. Visitation will take place on Wednesday September 6, 2017 from 4-7 pm at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with a Rosary at 7 pm. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.
