Tustin - Nona M. Sible, longtime resident of Osceola County, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Pleasant Ridge Assisted Living facility in Marion with her beloved husband by her side. She was 82.


Nona was born on February 7, 1935 in Evart Michigan to Basil and Ruth (Hoffman) Cooper.  She entered into marriage with Lamont G. Sible at the former Pisgah Heights Church on June 2, 1951.  Nona was a beloved wife and mother, helping to care for her large family in addition to being part of Evart Products for a number of years.


Nona enjoyed gardening and tending to the landscape around the house.  She was passionate about feeding birds, wild rabbits, turkeys, and deer and singing at the Middle Branch Township Hall.  She attended the Dighton Wesleyan Church.  She could often be found on Facebook chatting with family and friends.  Nona would spend time in the kitchen cooking and baking.  She will be remembered for the love she had for her husband Lamont and her family.


Nona is survived by her loving husband and best friend of over 66 years, Lamont of Tustin; her six children, Debra (Wade) Fedewa of Gaylord, Lamont Sible, Jr. of South Carolina, Scott (Michelle) Sible of Saginaw, Dana (Cheryl) Sible of Sears, William "Bill" Sible of LeRoy, and Brent (Angel) Sible of LeRoy; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; as well as many other loving family members and friends.


She was preceded in death by her parents Basil Cooper and Ruth (Hoffman) Cooper, grandchildren, Cindy Lou (Fedewa) Graham and Jeffrey Dana Sible.


Cremation has taken place and services celebrating Nona's life will be held at 10:30 am on May 12, 2018 @ the Dighton Wesleyan Church. She will be laid to rest at the Sible family lot at the Greenwood Cemetery in Marion.


The family is being served by the Fosnaught-Holdship Funeral Home.
