A devoted husband and loving father, he touched the lives of many with his unselfish ways and incredible loyalty to his family.   He was an amazing teacher of life and always set an example for all his kids, nieces, nephews and grandkids.

Paul was born on November 27, 1929 to Paul and Anna Blystone in Apollo, Pennsylvania.  He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Joan (Cadwell) Blystone and his two siblings Donald Blystone of Rock Creek, OH and Thelma (Don) Bertonaschi of Dexter, MI as well as his 4 children, Rebecca (Gregg) Bugala, Kimberly White, Mark (Michele) Blystone and Nancy (Vic Sivitilli) Blystone.  He adored his 6 grandchildren, Samuel, Adam, Elise, Cody, Kyle and Brooke as well as his many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years Annabel Blystone.

He was a graduate of GMI in 1952, and obtained a master’s degree at MSU in 1971.  He enjoyed a long and successful career at General Motors working from age 17 to age 57 when he retired as a young man.  He had an amazing retirement life, living life to the fullest, traveling, hunting and fishing, spending time with his kids, rocking the grand babies and enjoying watching them grow up.  Paul had the heart of a servant; his life exemplified his Christian faith.  He taught Sunday School for 35 years, served as an Elder and Deacon in the Presbyterian Church, as a Board member of the Salvation Army and volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and Stephen Ministry.  His kind spirit touched all who knew him, even his caretakers in his final days.
