Theresa "Terry" Margaret Kaminski, 85, of  Prudenville passed away on Wednesday May 24, 2017 at home with her children by her side.

Terry was born on February 18, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan to Stephen and Theresa (Lendzion) Jaworski. She grew up in Detroit graduating from Felician Academy. Terry worked as a salesperson for J. L. Hudson in Harper Woods. She was married on September 12, 1951 in Detroit to Norman Philip Kaminski. Terry was a member of St. James Catholic Church, and former member of St. Angela's Catholic Church of Roseville. The couple had a home at Houghton Lake since 1971 and became permanent residence in the area in 1986. She was very active with the Roscommon St. Vincent DePaul Society serving as store manager. She was always busy buying the Giving Tree Christmas Gifts, preparing the Thanksgiving Baskets and setting up Tea's for St. Vincent. She was also active at Church with luncheons and activities. She enjoyed bowling, golfing and was an excellent cook.

Surviving Mrs.Kaminski are her daughter, Susan (James) Luhellier of Petoskey; two sons, Chris (Linda) Kaminski of Macomb Township, and Kurt (Kim) Kaminski of Houghton Lake; five grandchildren, Brian, Randi, Taylor, Stephan, and Brendan; two great-grandchildren, Alexis, and Jordyn; brother, Raymond Jaworski of Rochester. Theresa was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. 

Mass of Christian Burial for Theresa Margaret Kaminski will be conducted at 12:00 pm Saturday May 27, 2017 from St. James Catholic Church with Fr. Bernard Tyler officiating. A private family burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Twp. Visitation will be held on Friday May 26, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Christler Funeral Home, Prudenville Chapel. Memorial contributions in memory of Theresa are asked to be directed to St. Vincent DePaul of Roscommon. Christler Funeral Home, Prudenville Chapel is serving the family.
