Cadillac, Michigan - William "Bill" Ernest Knitter, of Cadillac passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2017 at his home with his wife by his side. He was 64.

Bill was born on May 17, 1953, in Pontiac, Michigan to William and Vera (Berry) Knitter. Bill entered into marriage with the former  Tammy Joe Bigger on August 24, 1984, down by the lake in Cadillac MI. Bill spent his career working several jobs as a sales person for furniture, cars and the food industry. He enjoyed spending time outdoors trout fishing, especially in the Middle Branch River. Bill was a fan of the Detroit Tigers and liked to watch baseball games. He was a faithful member of the Harvest Worship Center and he was proud to love Jesus Christ and his church family.

Bill is survived by his wife, Tammy Knitter; his loving dogs, Pudge Rodriguez and Buddy Bear; cats, Mister Chloe and Miss Kitty; parrot, Opie; and many other loving friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday August 4, 2017 at 2 p.m. with visitation held one hour prior at the Harvest Worship Center, 900 Farrar Street, Cadillac, Michigan 49601. Officiating will be Pastor Mike Green. A luncheon will immediately follow the service at the church. Interment will take place at Middle Branch Township Cemetery in Marion at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Harvest Worship Center in Bill's memory.
