Alfred "Ted" Theodore Davis

It is with a heavy heart that we let our friends and family know our father, Alfred "Ted" Davis passed away peacefully at his residence in The Brook of Houghton Lake.  Daddy was 90 years old, outlived 3 wives and was looking yet for the 4th up until the week before his passing.  Surviving are his children, Margo, Teri, Leonard and Michelle, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  4 nights ago when we were sitting up with him, he told us "you know, people don't live forever - if they did, the world would be a boring place".  Well, the world is certainly dimmer.  

Our thanks for the staff of The Brook, they were outstanding with their care and attention for dad ~ he certainly made an impression on them.  Also, our thanks for Hospice ~ the job they do, the service they provide is both difficult and rewarding.  We are awed by their commitment to service.

We'll miss you daddy.
