Arvilla J. (Hull) Williams

Arvilla J. Williams, age 85 of Lake City passed away July 18, 2019  at the Maple Ridge Living Center.

Arvilla was born June 9, 1934 in Reeder Township of Missaukee County to George and Louise (Besey) Hull.

She married Jack E. Williams on December 10, 1965 in Cadillac.  He preceded her in death in 2007.

Arvilla graduated from Lake City High School in 1952 and was employed at the Lake City Schools in various positions, but was mainly known as the Elementary

playground aide.

She enjoyed spending winters in North Fort Myers, Florida.

She was well known for her skills in sewing and crocheting and was a member of the American Legion Auxillary Post 300 of Lake City.

Arvilla is survived by her children: Lynda (Mike) Jones, Pattie Bobo and Rick (Val) McLeod all of Linden, Teresa McLeod of N. Fort Myers, FL and Carol (Lyle)

Corwin of Lake City, eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother Larry Hull of Forsyth, MO.

Besides her husband Jack, she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Duane and Kenneth Hull, and three sister in laws: Muriel, Sally and Elaine.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at the Young-Holdship Funeral Home in Lake City with Lt. Colonel Larry Hull and Major Bethany Petrie officiating.   A time of

visitation will begin at 11:00 am until the time of services.

Burial will take place in the Lake City Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Salvation Army or Hospice of

Michigan.
