Beverly Maxine (Davison) Davis

McBain - Beverly "Maxine" Davis, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, February 25, 2019. She was 93.

She was born on May 23, 1925, in Houghton Lake, MI to Albert and Ruby (Kemp) Davison. On January 12, 1946, Maxine, married Cyril  K. Davis of Tustin. Maxine, as she was known by most, loved to cook.  She was famous to all her family and friends for her pie making abilities.  Both her and Cy would always raise a garden allowing her to can a lot of vegetables.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren.  Maxine often helped on the farm with chores or trucking grain with Cy.  They took many trips to Canada camping and fishing in the summers and moose hunting in the fall..  

Maxine is survived by her husband, Cyril K. Davis of McBain; daughters, Phyllis (Greg) Raymond of Middlebury, IN., and Beverly (Paul) Siewinski of Tustin, MI.; her grandchildren, Tonia Chamberlin, Trisha Raymond, Tiffany Robbins, Tammy (Brad) Schultheis, Ashley Schut, and Aaron Schut; as well as 12 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and her sister-in-law, Emma Neff.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Ruby Davison; her in-law's, Elmo and Carrie Davis; her sisters, Doris (Kenny) Young and Elaine (Jack) Robinson; a brother, Gene (Bethel)Davison; and sister-in-law, Pauline (Lewis) Hyde.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at the Cadillac First Church of the Nazarene, with visitation two hours prior.  Interment will be held Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Richland Township Cemetery, in Lucas.   In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made directed to the Gideon's International or Hospice of Michigan.
