Carol Ardis Obituary

Carol Ann Ardis, age 78 of Lake City passed away Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the

Samaritas Senior Living Center in Cadillac.

Carol was born December 15, 1940 in Detroit to John and Jane (Riehm) Crissman.

She was married November 4, 1961 to Donald J. Ardis in Lake City. He preceded her in death in 2016.

Carol graduated from Charlotte High School and attended Hillsdale College.

Her interests were her collection of antique postcards. She was a gardener and

especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren’s sporting events.

Carol is survived by two sons: Stephen Ardis and Kevin (Bridgid) Ardis both of Lake City and

grandchildren: Makayla and Gabe. She is also survived by a brother: John (Jackie) Crissman MD of Grosse Pointe,

a sister in law: Jayne (William) Seeley of Canadian Lakes and several nieces and nephews.

Carol was also preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation has taken place and it was Carol’s wish there not be any services.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Missaukee Mountain Ski Park.
