Carolyn Helene (Elkins) Benson

Traverse City, Michigan - Carolyn Helene Benson, Of Buckley, Passed away on May 25, 2019 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.  She was 82.

Carolyn Was born on April 28, 1937 to Alexander and Rose Elkins. Carolyn was beautiful inside and out.  She embraced life to the fullest and loved her family and friends deeply. Carolyn had a great sense of humor, a giving heart and a great, wise belief in all that is good in life.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Alex Mesler of Buckley; daughter, Holly Hoekendorf and son-in-law Brad Hoekendorf of Traverse City; and many other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Benson.

A Graveside Memorial will be held on Saturday June 1st at 3pm; at Cornell Cemetery, W4 Rd and N11 Road, just south of Buckley, MI.
