Charles C. Noell Sr

Charles Clifford Noell Sr., age 85, of Lake George passed away on Friday November 30, 2018 at McLaren Oakland Hospital in Pontiac.

Charles was born on November 15, 1933 in Pontiac, Michigan to Andrew and Nina (Brezee) Noell. Charles served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a Crane Operator for GM retiring in 1991. Charles was married on October 2, 1981 in Pontiac, Michigan to Neva Houghton. He enjoyed repairing lawn mowers in his spare time and loved listening to Bob Seger and country music.

Charles is survived by his children; Charles (Rosalie) Noell Jr. of Waterford, Curtis (Oneida) Noell of White Lake, Corene Noell of Pontiac and Colleen Phipps of North Carolina, step-children; Linda Green, Debra Cheney, Kathleen Ravin, Sherry Wilcox and Michael Rexford, several grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren, brothers; Lewis and Jerry, sisters; Diane, Linda and Penny and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Neva and sisters; Betty and Irene and brother; Andrew.  

Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday December 5, 2018 at 3 pm at Christler Funeral Home- Houghton Lake Chapel with Rev. Bryan Thompson officiating. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday December 5, 2018 from 1 pm until the time of the service. Burial will be at Roscommon Township Cemetery.
