Fort Wayne, Indiana - Charles Glenn Robinson, formerly of Cadillac and Florida, passed away on Wednesday, July 4th in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was 87 years old.
A native to Cadillac, he was born on April 23, 1931 to Russell and Evelyn (Potter) Robinson. In 1955, Charles entered into marriage with he former, Jean L. Anes, who preceded him in death in February of last year following 64 years of marriage.
Charles was a proud Air Force Veteran and made his living with Chris Craft for a number of years before his eventual retirement. He was father to three children, Patrick, Mike and Kelly, grandfather to five grandchildren, as well as great-grandfather many times over. Charles enjoyed spending time on the water, golfing, playing a friendly game of cards, in addition to his time wintering in Florida in later years.
Charles is survived by his loving family; son, Mike Robinson and daughter, Kelly (Robinson) Noragon; grandchildren, Eric Robinson, Jennifer (Robinson) DeHaven, Andrea Robinson, Jeremy Miner and Rochelle (Noragon) Malott; many great-grandchildren; as well as many other loving family members and friends.
Charles was preceded in death by his son, Pat Robinson, wife, Jean, and his parents.
Funeral services will be held at the Hitesman-Holdship Funeral Home on Friday, July 13, 2018 at 2:00pm with public viewing to begin prior to the service at 1:00pm also at the funeral home. Military honors will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Cadillac.
Memorial contributions may be made to Cadillac Wexford Public Library.
