Cadillac, Michigan - Cheryl Lynne Walker, formerly of the Detroit area, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at her home in Cadillac. She was 58.

Cheryl was born on July 24, 1959, in Detroit, Michigan to Bill and Donna (Woita) Walker. She spent her career working as a book keeper for many years. Cheryl loved donating her time to Club Cadillac. She proudly volunteered in the Club Cadillac garden and always offered help to anyone who needed assistance. She was a faithful member of the Zion Lutheran Church during her time spent in Cadillac. In her spare time, Cheryl enjoyed baking special treats and gardening flowers.

Cheryl is survived by her father, Bill Walker of West Branch; brother, Dennis (Karen) Walker of Livonia; three nieces, Marissa Walker, Amanda Walker and Megan (Mike) Dumouchelle; two great-nephews, Jaxson and Greyson; and many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother and a sister, Pamela Sue Harris.

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Club Cadillac, 2105 6th Avenue, Cadillac, MI 49601. A second memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 165 E. Sage Lake Road, Rose City, MI 48654.
