Christopher Martin Gonzalez, 54, of Cadillac formerly of Houghton Lake passed away on Thursday August 10, 2017 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.

Christopher was born on November 27, 1962 in Big Rapids, Michigan to Arthur and Joyce (Ruedger) Gonzalez. He grew up and attended school in Houghton Lake. Chris worked at ROOC in Roscommon and later at NOC in Cadillac. He attended St. Ann Catholic Church, Cadillac.

Surviving Mr.Gonzalez are his loving parents Art and Joyce Gonzalez of Houghton Lake; six brothers, Bill (Delores) Gonzalez of MA, Jim Gonzalez of Traverse City, Tom (Kim) Gonzalez of VA, Joe (Suzy) Gonzalez of Coldwater, John (Christina) Gonzalez of MA, and Tony (Jen) Gonzalez of Sterling Heights; sister, Teresa (Robert) Harris of Grosse Pointe; several nieces and nephews.  

Mass of Christian Burial for Christopher M. Gonzalez will be conducted at 10:00 am Monday August 14, 2017 from Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Fr. Rolando Silva officiating. Interment will be in Roscommon Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday August 14, 2017 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Prudenville.  Memorial contributions in memory of Christopher are asked to be directed to Our Lady of the Lake School.
