Daniel Hawkins Obituary

Cadillac - Daniel Roy Hawkins, of Cadillac and Manton, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. He was 58.

Dan was born on March 9, 1961, in Manistee to David and Audrey (LaFuze) Hawkins. On September 5, 2005Dan entered into marriage with the former Kimberly Stoll in Manton, MI. Daniel began his career working for Pizza Hut before eventually moving on from the Gaylord branch and becoming more of a "jack of all trades". Dan was talented in the field of construction, particularly welding, spending the last few years with All Ways Welding in Cadillac. Dan enjoyed the open road and the opportunity to take a ride on his motorcycle. He will be deeply missed.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Kimberly Hawkins of Manton; his parents, David and Audrey Hawkins of Manton; his daughters, Danialle Hawkins and Janet (Sam Cronkhite) Hawkins; his son, David (Ashley) Hawkins; step-daughters, Elizabeth (Sam) Emory and Trina Oram; his siblings, Jo Hawkins, Scott Hawkins and Christina Hess; six grandchildren and two step-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as many other loving family members, co-workers, and friends.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Carl Hawkins.

Per his wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at the Cadillac Masonic Lodge on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 4pm.

The family is being served by the Hall-Holdship Funeral Home.
