Darla Dee Clough

Darla Dee Clough, 81, of  Houghton Lake passed away on Monday October 28, 2019 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.  

Darla was born on July 1, 1938 in Ferndale, Michigan where she grew up and graduated from Lincoln High School.  She spent most of her life in the Detroit area and worked as an assembly worker in the electronics Industry.  On September 25, 1957 in Ferndale,  Darla was married to George Raymond Clough. Darla was a member of Houghton Lake United Methodist Church and was active in helping in the kitchen at Pasty Sales and Steak Dinners.  She was an avid bingo player, and enjoyed crafts and working with the church ladies knitting goods to send to needy people around the world..

Surviving Mrs. Clough are her daughter, Denise A. Tenny of Houghton Lake;  sister, Diane Marsh of Houghton Lake; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  Darla was preceded in death by her mother, June Marie Kotlarek; her father; son; Brian M. Clough; two brothers, Roy Michael Kotlarek, and William Edward Kotlarek; 

Memorial Services for Darla Dee Clough will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday November 16, 2019 from Houghton Lake United Methodist Church with Rev. George Spencer officiating.  Visiting time will be held from 10;00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am.  Memorial contributions in memory of Darla are asked to be directed to the Houghton Lake United Methodist Church.
