Dennis Clifford Johns

Grand Rapids, Michigan - Dennis Clifford Johns, of Reed City passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 14, 2018 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus from complications due to a house fire. He was 75.

Dennis was born on November 14, 1942 in Reed City, Michigan to Paul and Gertrude (Karns) Johns. He spent his career working for Evart Products for 26 years, until his time of retirement in January 2006. Dennis enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. In his spare time, Dennis liked to crochet and knit.

Dennis is survived by his life partner of 38 years and 8 months, Mike Gardner of Reed City; siblings, Connie (Darrell) Shoemaker of Reed City, David (Shirley) Johns of LeRoy, Darryl (Barb) Johns of Farwell, Cheryl Phipps of Covington, TN and Trudy (Marc) Greene of Brighton, TN; numerous aunts and uncles; and many other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Scott Johns and a brother-in-law, James Phipps.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place.
