Cadillac, Michigan- Desiree Nicole Farve, of Cadillac, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018, due to injuries from an automobile accident. She was 23.

Desiree was born on August 22, 1995 to Dean and Dana (Strandberg) Farve in Cadillac. She cherished the time spent with her family and greatly loved her daughter Ariella. Desiree enjoyed playing sports, especially softball, and hunting.She enjoyed going to the movies. She served as Miss Cadillac Representative from 2014 until 2017.

Desiree is survived by her Parents, Dean and Dana Farve of Cadillac; daughter, Ariella Dotson; three brothers, Dean (Emily and Amelia) Farve of Cadillac, Dustin Farve of Cadillac, Dawson Farve of Cadillac, boyfriend, Dakota Dotson and Son Aries, grandparents, Robin (Ellen) Strandberg, and Mary Rowe, Aunts, Gail (Bob) Bird, Amy (Pete) Berry, Donna (Terry) Coykendall, April (Joe) Salow, Linda (Paul) Scott, Agnes (David) Scott, Marsha Stewart, and Denise (Dave) Benson; uncles, Greg (Polly) Drongowski, Fred Strandberg, Doug Strandberg, Joe Strandberg, Ray (Renee) Farve and Jim Farve, Paula West,Will Dotson, John Dotson, Erin Dotson, Mike Dotson, Gail Dotson and Jackie Lloyd; and many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, James Farve and Charles Rowe; great-grandparents, Leon and Clare Drongowski, and Oscar and Mary Strandberg.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Hitesman-Holdship Funeral Home in Cadillac. Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 11 a.m. also at the funeral home with Chaplin Kathy Vana to preside.
