Diana L. (May) Dowland

Diana Louise Dowland, age 65, of Houghton Lake passed away on Friday November 16, 2018 at Grayling Nursing and Rehabilitation Community.

Diana was born on July 29, 1953 in Flint, Michigan to Frank and Ruth (Gray) May. Diana was married on February 14, 1976 in Flushing, Michigan to Gary D. Dowland. The couple moved to Houghton Lake in 1986. She enjoyed playing games on the computer and watching the Tigers. 

Diana is survived by her loving daughter; Jody (Steven) Wiggins of Merritt, sister; Kathy Berger of Stanton and brother; David May of Stanton, great grandchildren Erin and Olivia; nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gary D. Dowland and sister; Joy Dorsey. 

Funeral Services for Diana Louise Dowland will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday November 19, 2018 from Christler Funeral Home-Houghton Lake Chapel with Rev. Douglas Stockwell officiating. Interment will be in Roscommon Township Cemetery, Houghton Lake. Visitation will be held on Monday November 19, 2018 from 11:00 am until the time of the service at 1:00 pm at Christler Funeral Home- Houghton Lake Chapel.
