Donna Mae Goschke, age 79, of Houghton Lake passed away on Saturday October 5, 2019 at King Nursing and Rehabilitation Community with her husband by her side.
Donna was born on August 29, 1940 in Flint, Michigan to George and Margaret (Converse) Campeau. She was a beautician for many years before working as a security guard at Total Refinery in Alma. Donna was married on March 5, 1959 in St. Louis, MI. to Carl John Goschke III. The couple moved to Houghton Lake 26 years ago from St. Louis, Michigan after retirement. She was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Harrison, Houghton Lake Sportsman Club and Living History Reenactments, she was a Certified Hunter Safety Instructor and enjoyed trapping fox, hunting, fishing and camping, riding her motorcycle and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Donna is survived by her husband of 60 years; Carl J. Goschke III of Houghton Lake, sons; Carl (Katherine) John Goschke IV of St. Louis, MI and Mark (Sheilia) Goschke of Riverdale, five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren, sisters; Clara Harnick, Patty Lou Rodriguez, Diane Campeau and Sharon Campeau. She was preceded in death by parents, sister; Jackie Rank and brothers; George Campeau and Bob Campeau.
A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday October 8, 2019 at 1 pm at Roscommon Township Cemetery, Houghton Lake with Pastor Andrew Ewald officiating. Christler Funeral Home-Houghton Lake Chapel is serving the family. Condolences can be sent to the family online at www.christler-holdship.com
