Dorothy J. Sunman, age 74, of Prudenville passed away on Friday November 30, 2018 at home.

Dorothy was born on December 7, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan to London England and Charlotte Gretz (England). Dorothy was married on September 3, 1992 to Robert Sunman. The couple moved to Prudenville in 1997 from Livonia. She was the Executive Chair for the Democratic Party of Roscommon County, member of the Houghton Lake- Lake Association, a member of the Deer Run Association and an antique dealer and collector.

Dorothy is survived by her children; Richard McDonald of Texas, Michael (Karen) McDonald of Cheboygan, Lawrence Goodwin of Illinois, Mark McDonald of Redford and Charlotte (April) McDonald of Florida and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; Robert Sunman.

Per Dorothy's wishes cremation has taken place and private family services were held with Rev. Sister Jean Brennan officiating. Memorial contributions in memory of Dorothy are asked to be directed to a charity of the donor's choice. Christler Funeral Home- Prudenville Chapel is serving the family.
