Edward Leroy "Buddy" Dietrick, 74, of Roscommon passed away on Wednesday May 22, 2019 at home.
Ed was born on October 4, 1944 in Ft Wayne, Indiana to Edward and Catherine (Kennedy) Dietrick. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Ed spent most of his life on his Markey Township property. He worked as a die setter/welder/hilo driver for SEMCO in West Branch. He enjoyed fishing and was a movie buff. He also loved to read and work with coloring books.
Surviving Mr. Dietrick are his daughter, Rosebud Peters of Clare; two grandsons, Guy E. Peters, and Scott C Peters both of Clare; sister, Frances (Lee) DeBaeke of Roscommon; several nieces and nephews. Edward was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Raymond Dietrick, and two sisters Alma Rose Stradling, and Mary Pegg.
Funeral Services for Edward Leroy Dietrick will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday May 25, 2019 from Christler Funeral Home, Houghton Lake Chapel. Visitation will be held on Saturday May 25, 2019 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Christler Funeral Home, Houghton Lake Chapel.
