Edward "Ed" H. Miller, age 88, of Prudenville passed away on Wednesday June 6, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Edward was born on August 10, 1929 in Flint, Michigan to Roscoe and Bessie (Rushon) Miller. He served as a SGT in the US Army during the Korean War. Edward retired from General Motors where he had worked as a Press Operator. He was married on January 21, 1951 in Mountain Home, Arkansas to Dolores Mae Peter. The couple moved to Prudenville in 1995 from Flint. Edward was a charter member of the Linden Lions Club and a member at Pine View Golf Course, he enjoyed bowling, playing softball in his younger years, but his passion was playing golf.
Edward is survived by his daughter; Cherrilynn Plantz of Swartz Creek; sons; Duane (Lora) Miller of Alabama, Scott (Marie) Miller of Arkansas, Gary (Tina) Miller of Texas and Rick Miller of Prudenville, sixteen grandchildren. thirty three great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren, sister; Sharon Meade of Grand Blanc. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife; Dolores M. Miller, sister Betty Jean and step-brother Pat Sheridan.
Funeral Services for Edward H. Miller will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Sunday June 10, 2018 from Christler Funeral Home-Prudenville Chapel. Interment will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly. Visitation will be held on Saturday June 9, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Christler Funeral Home- Prudenville Chapel. Christler Funeral Home- Prudenville Chapel is serving the family.
