Elizabeth Mary Metzger

Elizabeth Mary Metzger, of Cadillac, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2019 at Samaritas Senior Living in Cadillac.  She was 41.
 
Elizabeth was born on June 21, 1977 in Troy,  New York to Joseph and Virginia (Chaffee) Metzger. She spent her career working as a paramedic for U of M for many years, a job she was very proud of. Elizabeth enjoyed listening to the piano play and was especially fond of classical music. She was a faithful member of St. Ann Catholic Church. Elizabeth was loved by everyone that knew her. She cherished the time spent with her family, especially her daughter, Anna.
 
Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Anna Grace Grover of Cadillac; mother, Virginia Metzger of Cadillac ; siblings, Joseph D. (Jeanne) Metzger of Cadillac, Virginia McGowen of Livonia and Daniel Thomas (Marsella) Metzger of Cadillac; numerous nieces and nephews; 4 great-nieces; the love of her life, Jim; and many other loving family members and friends.
 
She was preceded in death by father, Joseph Metzger.
 
A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 11 a.m. with visitation held one hour prior at St. Ann Catholic Church. Father Michael Janowski will preside.
 
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Metzger family, in care of her mother, Virginia Metzger.
