James Waldron Obituary

Cadillac - James Joseph Waldron, of Cadillac, passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Munson Healthcare's Cadillac Hospital. He was 77. He was born on September 6, 1941, in Traverse City, to Arthur F. and Margaret M. (Gregorie) Waldron. On August 24, 1968 he entered into marriage with the former Cynthia Lynn Kietzman at St. Ann Catholic Church in Cadillac. Jim had a long career laying carpet and flooring for Nixon Carpet in Cadillac before his eventual retirement. He was a member of the Elks Lodge as well as the Knights of Columbus, and a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church. Jim could often be found in his back yard. He enjoyed playing cards with his special friends. He cherished the time spent with his family and was proud of his daughters. Jim is survived by his wife, Cindy of Cadillac; his daughters, Erica (Kevin) Kimble of Traverse City; Wendy Ross of Florida; sisters, Barbara and Jean; brother-in-law, Mike; special friends, Melanie (Sam) Draper and David (Debbie) Evans, Gary B., Jim S. and Richard A.; as well as many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Doug Carpenter. Memorial services will take place at a later date in the spring. Memorial contributions may be directed to Samaritas Senior Living in Cadillac.
