Jerry Michael Konesko, age 72, of Prudenville passed away on Wednesday October 10, 2018 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Jerry was born on September 2, 1946 in Saginaw, Michigan to Joseph and Louise (Fritz) Konesko. He served as a Sergeant in the Big Red 1 in the US Army and was a Vietnam War Veteran. Jerry retired from General Motors and moved to Prudenville in 1997. He then started J's Painting. Jerry was married to Darlene (Plietz) Konesko. He loved spending time with his family and friends, he also enjoyed playing games, especially cards and gambling.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife Darlene Konesko, brother; Joe Konesko Jr. and sisters; Judy VanAllen and JoAnn Hommes, In-laws; Tom (Karen) Anderson, and Diane Murphy; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-laws; Robert Hommes and Gene VanAllen.
