Jill Ann Ames , age 49 of Lake City passed away October 3, 2018.

Jill was born September 6, 1969 in Flint, Michigan. She was a health care provider and enjoyed sewing and arts and crafts. She had a big heart and could always be found helping people.

Jill is survived by her children, James (Danielle) Ross, Kristina Ahrens, Jeremy Ames and Nicholas Richardson and granddaughters Ava and Alaina Dockery. She is also survived by her father Charles Davis and brothers Paul Ames and Harold Davis.

Jill was preceded in death by her mother Peggy Davis and grandparents Elis and Opal Ames.

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the Young-Holdship Funeral Home in Lake City with graveside services following the Butterfield Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Kristina Ahrens.
