Jan, we've been thinking of you since the notice of your dad"s passing in the paper. We went to the HH funeral home in Cadillac today, not realizing there was one in Manton. Sorry we missed you. Sure there were lots of friend's and family there. Again, you are in our thoughts and prayers.

I followed John as traffic engineer for Saginaw in 1966. As a totally green recent college grad on my first permanent job, I would have been completely lost without the opportunity to access his wisdom and advice through frequent phone conversations. He remained a valuable resource to me throughout my career, for that I will be forever grateful. John was an outstanding engineer and wonderful human being, I'll always treasure our friendship.
