John Wucker Obituary

Cadillac - John Leroy Wucker, longtime resident of the Cadillac area, passed away on Sunday July 14, 2019 at Autumnwood of McBain. He was 84.

John was born on April 9, 1935, in Manton, Michigan to John M. and Edna (Carpenter) Wucker. He entered into marriage with the former Helena Anspaugh, on Dec. 17, 1955, in Manton. He served as a member of the 46th Military Police Company for the National Guard of Michigan. John worked at Chris Craft in Cadillac and Kysor of Cadillac, from which he retired after 37 years of employment.

John is survived by his beloved family; wife, Helena Wucker of Lake City; one daughter, Diane (Randal) Hamilton; his grandchildren, Luke (Michelle) Hamilton, Mary (Charleston) Hudson; and great granddaughter, Gracen Hudson. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Howard and William; a sister, Mary; his son, Gregory John Wucker; and a grandson, Gabriel John Hamilton.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and private family services will be held.

The family is being served by the Hitesman-Holdship Funeral Home.
