Joseph Adelbert Hooker

Joseph Adelbert Hooker, age 72 of Manton, passed away at his home Monday, November 19, 2018.

Joe was born October 18, 1946 in Cadillac to Charles A. and Helen Marie (Cornwell) Hooker.  He married Georgeann Dorothy November 14, 1969 in Kalamazoo.  Joe was a truck driver and enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family.

Joe is survived by his wife Georgeann and son Joseph A. (Jerri) Hooker Jr., grandchildren:  Daric (Brandy) Foust of Kent City, Jeremy Foust, Ruby (Tony) Larr, and Gerrett (Destinee) Hooker and great grandchildren: Ben, Alaina, Brennan, Jeremiah, Dillan, Hannah, KinLeigh, Ella and Axxton. Joe is also survived by his brother: Charles (Nancy) Hooker of Galesburg, and sisters: Norma Musselman of Lake City and Phyllis (David) Dekema of Richland, brother-in-laws: Tane (Linda) Koblick of Walnut, CA, Lee (Lorie) Dorothy of Gypsum, CO, Larry (Frieda) Lawrence and Wilbur (Marilyn) Dorothy both of Las Vegas, NV, Wayne Dorothy of Honolulu, HI and sister-in-law Betty (Larry) Wezensky of Battle Creek.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, a sister: Wanda (Frank) Fisk, nephew and niece, Charles (Rosie) Hooker and son: Clayton Lee Hooker.

A memorial service and luncheon will be held 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at the Caldwell Township Hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
