Marion, Michigan- Justin Spaulding, of Marion, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. He was 32.
Justin was born on May 21, 1986 to Ron and Dawn (Pollington) Spaulding in Cadillac. He was a graduate of Marion Public Schools in 2004, where he broke many records with his basketball team. Justin was a fan of U of M Wolverines and rooted for many football and basketball games. He liked spending time outdoors fishing, working on his grandpa's farm, and being in the woods hunting. Justin loved his dog, Trigger, and spent much of his spare time taking him for walks. People who knew him will remember him as a kind soul; if he had something to give, he would give it. He cherished his relationship with the Lord, his family and his friends.
Justin is survived by his loving father, Ron Spaulding of Marion; sister, Heather (Paul) Poco of Boston, MA; brother, Jared Spaulding of Marion; two nephews, Benjamin and Remi Poco; grandfather, Claude (Ruth Ann) Pollington; grandmother, Sharon (George) Edwards; and many other loving family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Dawn Spaulding; grandfather, Buddy Wayne Spaulding; and grandmother, Patricia Ann Pollington.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Fosnaught-Holdship Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at 4 p.m. with visitation held one hour prior also at the funeral home with Rev. Justin Krupsky to preside.
