Kathie L. Wilton

Kathie Lynn Wilton, age 72 of Lake City passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Autumnwood of McBain.

She was born August 4, 1946 in Lansing to Clifford and Marion (Lyons) Peterson.

Kathie graduated from Grand Ledge High School and married her high school prom date,
Douglas John Wilton on July 4, 1964 in Grand Ledge. He preceded her in death
November 9, 2007.

Kathie was a quiet person and filled her life as fulltime, wife, Mom and homemaker.
She enjoyed crocheting, and baking and playing card games. She always liked pretty flowers and plants
and loved to read and watch birds. Kathie enjoyed attending church and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children Lynda Heller of Manton, Craig (Lynn) Wilton and Scott
(Jeannie) Wilton both of Lake City, Diann (Dan) Somes of Hendersonville, TN,
Brenda Wilton of Lake City and Karen (Rob) Leggett of White House, TN and
fourteen grandchildren She is also survived by a brother Craig (Cathy) Peterson of Birch Run.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and a son in law Phillip Heller

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the
Young-Holdship Funeral Home in Lake City.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 am until time of services.
Burial will take place at the Stittsville Cemetery.
