Kathy Jean Vandenboss

Kathy Jean Vandenboss of Lake City, passed away March 18, 2019  at the age of 67, at Samaritas Senior Living  in Cadillac.

Kathy was born on June 26, 1951 to Hilda (Howard)  Ramer  in Lansing, Michigan. Kathy enjoyed spending time outdoors going on walks  and  putting together  jigsaw  puzzles or completing  crossword puzzles. Kathy loved animals and had many special pets, including her dogs Missy and Lady. She cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Kathy is survived by her loving children, Tammy (Scott) Venema of Lake City, Tracey (Kevin) Moore of  Leroy and Torry (Kendra) Vandenboss of  Lake City;  eight  grandchildren, Zakery Richardson, Kiara Richardson, Ingrid Sisson, Lexi Venema, Lucas Venema, Liliana Venema, Michael Moore, Marisa Smith, Ally Burch,  Tony Moore, Darren Moore, Aylassa Vandenboss, Aleaha Vandenboss;  six  great-grandchildren  Maddisyn Smith, Preston Smith, Christopher Burch, Remi Burch, Cammi  Rios, and Rowan Moore;  six  sisters,  Charla Ramer,  Darla Ramer, Sally Waite, Kelly Haugen, Penny Ramer, Nancy Ramer;  five  brothers, Steve Ramer, Alan Ramer, Nick Ramer, David Ensing, Richard  Ensing; and many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents  Hilda and Richard Ensing,  three brothers, Mark, John and Scott,  and her great grandson Carson Burch.

Per  her  wishes,  cremation  has  taken  place  and  a  memorial  service  will  be  held  April 2, 2019, at 1:00 pm, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in  Lake City with Pastor Pat Milligan officiating.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family, in care of her daughter, Tammy Venema.
