Kenneth James Robinson

Cadillac, Michigan - Kenneth James Robinson, of Marion, passed away on November 28, 2018 at the Curry House in Cadillac. He was 89.
 
Kenneth was born on July 31, 1929 to John and Lola (McCrimmon) Robinson at Sylvan Township, Michigan. He answered the call of duty serving in the Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed working on his farm. He spent his life working as a construction worker. On June 21, 1981 he married Carolyn A. Dorman in Kent City. Kenneth was a life-long resident of the Marion area. He enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. He cherished the time spent with his family.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Carolyn Robinson; children, Mike (Sandy) Doede of Gladwin, Douglas Robinson of Salt Lake City, UT, Janet (Dallas) Coleman of Evart, Laurie Robinson of Evart and Kenda (Debbie ) Robinson of Wildwood, FL; grandchildren, Kelly, Nick, Karly and Billie; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Norman Robinson; sister, Helen (George) Williams; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lola and a brother, Merlin Robinson.
 
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held in the spring with interment at Middle Branch Township Cemetery.
