Loraine D. (Dollins) Micensky

Loraine D. Micensky, age 87, of Houghton Lake passed away on Thursday October 17, 2019 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Gladwin.

Loraine was born on October 19, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan to Fred and Edna (Kraey) Dollins. She was married on March 1, 1952 in Detroit to Harry M. Micensky. The couple moved to Houghton Lake in 1994 from Detroit. Loraine enjoyed doing puzzles and loved to crochet.  

Loraine is survived by her son; Kurt Micensky of Houghton Lake, daughters; Pam Farkas of Houghton Lake and Susan Micensky of Houghton Lake, half sister; Thelma Wright of Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Harry M. Micensky, son; Perry Micensky and brother; Ray Dollins. 

Funeral Services for Loraine D. Micensky will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Tuesday October 22, 2019 from Christler Funeral Home- Houghton Lake Chapel with Rev. George Spencer officiating. Interment will be in Roscommon Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday October 22, 2019 from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home.
