Lake City, MI - Lucielle Marie Worrall, of Falmouth passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Whispering Pines Assisted Living. She was 96.
Lucielle was born on October 6, 1922, in Aetna Township, Michigan to Jacob and Rachel (Mordon) Haveman. She entered into marriage with Vern Worrall on April 11, 1952 in Bay City, Michigan. The couple spent 40 years together until his time of passing on June 27, 1992. She enjoyed quilting in her spare time. Lucielle spent her career working as a teacher for both the Merritt and Houghton Lake communities and later volunteered her time as a librarian. She was proud of her faith and attended the Aetna Christian Reformed Church for many years and served as a ladies aid. Lucielle cherished the time spent with her family and loved being around her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lucielle is survived by her children, Dona (Mickey) Beebe of Marion, Mary (Dean) Lee of Falmouth and Vern David Worrall of Cadillac; grandchildren, Becky Hartzog, Charles (Nicole) Parsell, Kerri Lynn Elizando, Justin Cooper, David Roger Worrall; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Georgia Peterson, Adeline (Richard) Kitchen and Crystal Brown; and many other loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Rachael; husband, Vern; grandson, Jeff Lee; and brothers, Gerald Haveman, Raymond Haveman and Richard Haveman.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 from 12 noon until 2 p.m. at Young-Holdship Funeral Home in Lake City. A committal service with Pastor Josh Henderson officiating will follow the visitation and be conducted at Aetna Township Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Michigan.
