Marilyn Clark Obituary

 

Marion - Marilyn Ann Clark, longtime resident of Marion and formerly of the Lansing area, passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at the Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. She was 83.


Marilyn was born on July 28, 1935 in Lansing, Michigan to Edgar and Julia (Kavanaugh) Sarlouis. She entered into marriage with Dorwin Duane Clark on September 15, 1955 in Bath, Michigan. After a casual relationship in high school the couple celebrated 62 years of marriage at the time of his passing just this past January. 

Marilyn is survived by her children, Mike Clark of Evart, Dawn Marie (Rod) Morrison of Marion and Matt Clark of Marion; three grandchildren, Matthew, Alyssa and Nicole; one great-grandson, Kaisyn Barr; as well as many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dorwin, and her parents.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 20, 2018 from 4 pm until 7 pm at the Fosnaught-Holdship Funeral Home in Marion. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 3 pm also at the Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Rodney Morrison. Interment will follow at Middle Branch Township Cemetery.
