Mary J. McEvers, age 63, of Houghton Lake passed away on Saturday September 24, 2016 at her home.
Mary was born on October 11, 1952 in Mount Clemens, Michigan to George & Beverly (Ploe) Proctor. Mary moved to Houghton Lake five years ago from Roseville. She loved spending time with her cat Charlee.
Mary is survived by her mother; Beverly (Henry) Aldridge of Prudenville, sister; Linda (Patrick) Vendittelli of St. Clair Shores, several aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her father George Proctor.
Funeral services is scheduled for Thursday September 29, 2016 at 1 pm at the Houghton Lake Church of God with Rev. Rodney Friend to conduct the service. Visitation will take place on Thursday at the church from 10 am until the time of the service. Memorials may be directed to the family.
