Cadillac, Michigan - Mary Lynne Schoo, of Falmouth passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital. She was 71.

Mary Lynne was born on July 29, 1946, in Vogel Center, Michigan to Lawrence and Anne (Tacoma) Herweyer. She entered into marriage with Steven Schoo on November 14, 1963 at her parents home in McBain. Mary Lynne spent her career working at Ebel's Clothing for 28 years. Mary Lynne was a faithful member of the Prosper Christian Reformed Church of Falmouth. She was an avid reader and even volunteered her time as the church librarian. She worked at Aetna Township as the Trustee and enjoyed being involved in the community. Mary Lynne spent her life on the farm raising her family for over 50 years. She loved to cook and will be remembered by her family for all of her special meals. Her granddaughters were her pride and joy and she cherished any time spent with her family.

Mary Lynne is survived by her husband of 54 years, Steven Schoo of Falmouth; two children, Melissa Schoo of McBain and Dan (Patricia) Schoo of Falmouth; two granddaughters, Brittany (Coley) Laughlin of Evart and Paige Schoo of Mt. Pleasant; one sister, Dorothy (Khalid) Al-Shawi of Cambridge, Massachusetts; two brothers-in-law, Bob (Mary Jane) Hitesman of Zeeland and Tim (Sandy) Schoo of Falmouth; on sister-in-law, Emily (Jim) Stange of Gladwin; several nieces and nephews; and many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Howard and Maxine Schoo; a brother, Ron Herweyer; and two nephews, Steven Herweyer and Tony Hitesman.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2017 from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Prosper Christian Reformed Church in Falmouth. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, December 4, 2017 at 11 a.m. with visitation held one hour prior also at the church with Rev. Dirk Koetje to preside. Interment will take place at Prosper cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Prosper Christian Reformed Church Building Fund.
