Mary M. (Maczuga) Tomaszewski, age 83, of Prudenville formerly of Hamtramck passed away on Tuesday August 8, 2017 at home with her loving family by her side.

Mary was born on March 10, 1934 in Hamtramck, Michigan. She married Joseph Tomaszewski on February 7, 1952 in Hamtramck. After building their home in 1977 on Lake James, Mary moved to Prudenville permanently in 2012. She was very involved and donated much of her time to the Daughters of Isabella Organization, and the Saint Theresa Guild of Saint Florian Parish, her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. 

Mary is survived by her sons; Leo (Marilyn) Tomaszewski, Thomas Tomaszewski, Douglas Tomaszewski, Joseph (Connie) Tomaszewski and Michael Tomaszewski, ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and brother; Walter (Debbie) Maczuga of Redford. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph, daughter Denise, brother Leo and sister Josephine.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Florian Parish in Hamtramck at 10 am on Saturday September 23, 2017. You may express your condolences to the family at www.christler-holdship.com Christler Funeral Home-Prudenville Chapel is serving the family.
